Nike Slingshot HL Combo Irons Review
The Nike Slingshot HL Combo Irons add hybrids to the mix to give golfers the flexibility to hit solid shots anywhere on the course.
Hybrids replace the traditional three, four and five irons. Each has a slingback design that pushes the weight back in the clubhead for a higher MOI, and the weight is concentrated in the lower sole to improve the launch angle. An increased offset adds to the clubs' utility by making it easier to square the clubhead at contact, while the keel sole limits the interaction with the turf to make the hybrids useful from any lie and any terrain.

The remaining clubs in the Nike Slingshot HL Combo Irons are traditional irons. Like the hybrids, they have the Nike slingback design, with a progressive offset that decreases in the scoring irons to add to their shot-shaping ability. Short irons also have a thinner sole width for better control. The middle irons, meanwhile, have an elongated profile for a better MOI and more stability, and a wider sole for a higher launch angle.
Nike's Slingshot HL Mixed Irons have a suggested MSRP of $699 in steel shafts, $799 in graphite. Either option is designed to give golfers some clubs they can use with confidence.
