Nike Slingshot 4D Irons Review
The Nike Slingshot 4D Irons are designed in a way that each club in the set is treated like an individual, specialized iron instead of just one of a set. Nike calibrates each clubhead specifically to give each the properties it needs to perform its desired function.
In the Nike Slingshot 4D Iron set, a four iron isn't the same as the seven iron, which isn't the same as the nine. The patented Nike slingback is positioned slightly differently on each clubhead to ensure the proper ball flight. Each club also has a variable sole width, producing a progressive center of gravity for higher trajectories and softer landings.

Long irons in the Nike Slingshot 4D Iron series have a greater offset, to keep shots flying higher and straighter. Shorter irons, meanwhile, have less offset, allowing for greater accuracy and control. Finally, the head shapes of each iron are slightly different to give each its ideal combination of distance, accuracy, and shot-shaping ability.
The suggested retail price of the Nike Slingshot 4D Irons are $799 for graphite shafts and $699 in steel. For that price, a golfer gets a very well-made set of clubs that is engineered to perform exactly like the instruction books say it should, and it plays as well as any set on the market.
