Mizuno MX-200 Irons Review

Anyone in the market for a set of game improvement irons will have a hard time finding a more forgiving, and more accurate, set than the Mizuno MX-200 Irons.

This set has the company's landmark Y-Tune technology, which uses a reengineered external power bar and a Y-shaped interior cavity pad to expand the sweet spot of the clubface closer to the toe. The clubhead of each iron is slightly larger than previous models, and each has a milled pocket that extends deeper into the clubface for a center of gravity that rests in the lower sole. U-shaped grooves help control the ball’s spin upon impact.

All of this creates a higher launch angle that's easy to hit solidly, and even an off-center hit will fly high and straight towards the target. With the company's new triple cut sole design, there's a lot of extra utility in the Mizuno MX-200 Irons as well. Even in bad lies, it's not hard to make solid contact.

Mizuno is one of the leading names in golf, and the Mizuno MX-200 Irons are a great option for high and mid-range handicappers that offers the latest technology in a friendly and forgiving format.
