Mizuno MX-100 Irons Review
For a set that's custom-made to meet the needs of high handicappers, the Mizuno MX-100 Irons is a hard one to top.
The Mizuno MX-100 Irons have the company's patented Y-Tune technology that extends the sweet spot closer to the toe. Anyone who currently struggles to make solid contact with their irons has the answer here. It's hard not to hit the ball solid with these clubs, as the hitting zone is so huge and the MOI so high that even an off-center hit will have the velocity to sail down the fairway.

In addition, the Mizuno MX-100 Irons are a hybrid designed set that can be custom fit to each golfer's specifications, ensuring that everyone gets clubs best suited to their game. The No. 4 and No. 5 hybrids have Drop Down Crown technology that can be bent by Mizuno as needed, and that customization ensures a smooth flow as the set progresses to the midrange and scoring clubs.
One caveat; though the Mizuno MX-100 Irons are USGA and R&A conforming through 2024, they are non-conforming for professional tournaments beginning on January 1 2010, and are non-conforming for elite amateur tournaments beginning on January 1, 2014.
