Callaway X-22 Irons Review
It didn't take the Callaway X-22 Irons to be among the company's signature brands. These game-improvement clubs are designed to make the traditionally difficult iron shots a much more palatable option for anyone.
The Callaway X-22 Irons have an MOI that's 10% greater than previous Callaway models. That has been accomplished by adding weight to the perimeter of the clubhead, and the result is a much more forgiving series of clubs. Add that to the low center of gravity, and the ball launches easily with the appropriate trajectory for each iron.

That weighting combines with the Callaway Variable Face Thickness (VFT) Technology to produce a series of clubs that's easy to hit. The VFT Technology provides a hot clubface that helps the ball explode on impact and drives the ball down the fairway.
Finally, these clubs don't look like the stereotypical game improvement irons. The head shape resembles those of the Tour series of irons, and the style is sleek and professional. Rocco Mediate came within inches of knocking off Tiger Woods at the 2008 U.S. Open with the Callaway X-22 Irons in his bag, and for an MSRP of $899 these clubs can be in your bag as well.
