Adams is known for its hybrids, and brought that technology to this set of clubs that replace the longer irons with three hybrid clubs. These all have the Adams Boxer Technology that has helped the company become one of the industry leaders, and have an MOI that's among the best in the business. They get greater distance and more accuracy than is customary in a hybrid design.
Meanwhile, the 6-7 irons are hollow-backed with a progressive offset, a nice transition between the hybrids and the scoring irons. Those clubs, the 8I-PW, are cavity-backed with a different head shape for better forgiveness and shot-shaping ability. The clubs have narrower soles and a mid-high launch angle to increase their workability.

It made the Golf Digest Hot List in 2008, and have an MSRP of just $515 for an eight-club set that includes three hybrids.
